Wedding at Walt Disney World

The married couple on the way to the wedding reception. So cute!
Finally the day has come and Siam and Am are finally married. The wedding was held at the resort we were staying at, Disney's Yacht Club resort. As we were staying at Walt Disney World for a week, we even had the Bachelor and Bachelorette Party here... And the Honeymoon, mjau!

The Bachelor Party for the boys was celebrated at the Hollywood Studios in the morning and into the afternoon. They had so much fun at the Hollywood Studios, mjau! Our Butler's said it was so relaxing and calm, mjau, they think us girls are too demanding!
Bachelor Party at the Hollywood Studios.

They got fastpasses for  The Hollywood Tower of Terror so they went there first. Mjau, hihi, a good way to prepare Siam for married life with Am!  They also went to see the Voyage of The Little Mermaid and to the One Man's Dream show celebrating Walt Disney, our hero. Mjau, they had so much fun at the gallery exhibit. There was models of the castles and parks that were just the right size for our Tsum Tsum Grandpas.
Lunch at the Sci-Fi Dine-In, where it is always night time, mjau!

They had lunch at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant. Mjau, it is one of our favourites so we were a little bit sad that only the boys got to go. So unfair, mjau! They have however changed the menu since we were there last March. The turkey sandwich we always got is now served in a multigrain croissant instead. You can also no longer get the sweet potato fries, mjau.
Dessert Party, delicious!
After lunch they walked around the park and then started walking back to us. Before they got back they also had a dessert party. They bought a cupcake from the BoardWalk Bakery and a coffee and chocolate mousse pastry from The Market at Ale & Compass from our Resort. They then greedily ate the desserts near the pool at our resort before they came back to the room.
Mjau, Big Al is our favourite Country Bear!
Mjau, then it was finally our turn to shine and have our Bachelorette Party. For our party we went to Magic Kingdom. It was so much fun to just be us girls for a change, mjau. We were planning to go to the Grand Floridian Resort and have some drinks at their lounge. Before that we went to the The Country Bear Jamboree, a classy musical show fitting for a bachelorette party.
Drinks at the Grand Floridian, mjau, delicious Godiva drink!

When it started getting a bit more dark outside we took the boat to the Grand Floridian. So nostalgic, we stayed there for a week last October, so it was like coming home again. We went to the Citricos Lounge and ordered our drinks. We had a table by the window so we had a nice view of the pool outside. Our butlers were a bit embarrassed as the cast members and guests walked by our table to get to the restaurant. Even the bartender had a clear view to our table. We do not understand what the big deal is, you are supposed to drink and dance on tables on a bachelorette party. Mjau, we should be embarrassed by them!
Mjau, things got wild and Grandma needed a nap...

Waiting for the next Tiki show!

After we had our drinks we went back to Magic Kingdom. We went dancing to the Enchanted Tiki Room. So much fun and Fritz has such a beautiful voice, like an angel, mjau! We always have such bad luck when going to the Tiki Room, it always starts raining. Most of the times it has already stopped when we go outside. After going to the Tiki Room a couple of times we walked around the park for a while.
Woohoo, having fun in the dark! The castle is so pretty, like us, mjau!
I'm walking right don the middle of Main Street USA, mjau!

We had the wedding ceremony on the beach at our resort. It was so sunny that the photos we took got a bit damaged, mjau. Our incompetent Butler, mjau!
Waiting the bride to walk down the aisle.

Mjau, just married!

The gazebo at the resort was perfect for our reception!

The reception was held at the gazebo at the resort. It was so romantic, with flowers and even a heart carved at the gazebo. It was a bit scary with all the big lizards running around. But not as scary as the cast member cutting the grass. Mjau, the wedding could have gone south really fast!

The wedding reception is about to start, mjau!
Mjau, the entire wedding party!
Siam and Am had their first dance as husband and wife to So This Is Love from Cinderella. It was so romantic, mjau. We bought the wedding cake from Amorette's Patisserie at Disney Springs.  We had the Coffee Time Petit cake. It was so delicious, and not as heavy as we feared on such a hot day.
Waiting for the cake-cutting to begin, mjau!

The cake was really delicious. There was no cake left to keep for our anniversary, mjau!

After the wedding reception we ventured off to Epcot to travel around the world for the Honeymoon. I do not think the groom was so happy that the bride's family tagged along for the honeymoon. Although to us it was an after party instead of a honeymoon, mjau! Our grandparents went to have a luxurios dinner at the Flying Fish at the Boardwalk to celebrate the marriage later that evening. Mjau, our paws were too tired from walking around the world to follow them...
Honeymoon around the world in Epcot. First stop: France!

After the honeymoon we continued our vacation at Walt Disney World as a wonderful start to their happily ever after!
Back in our room, mjau. Our happily ever after can begin!

Tokyo Disney Resort 2023 May

Our butler had never visited Tokyo Disneyland before so we decided to drag our butler out of their cave and generously treat them to a week ...
